Welcome to The Spectrum Place & The Yard — creating inclusive opportunities for children, young people and families across Milton Keynes.
The Yard is a youth community learning hub in Milton Keynes, providing alternative learning opportunities, home education activities, youth development, social connection and educational enrichment for young people who want or need a different approach to learning.
Whether you are a home-educating family, a young person looking for somewhere to learn and connect, or a parent seeking inclusive activities and SEND support, we offer a welcoming space where young people can explore their interests, develop new skills, build friendships and discover their potential.
Working alongside The Spectrum Place, our shared mission is to make learning, community and opportunity more accessible for everyone — including SEND and neurodivergent young people, home-educated learners and those who find traditional education challenging.
From GCSE study groups and digital learning to creative activities, youth programmes and community experiences, The Yard is helping young people across Milton Keynes find new ways to learn, grow and belong.
